Medicare Update:  New Exception to the Plan of Care Certification Requirement

📢 Here's what you need to know about Medicare's updated requirements:

• Initial 90 Days:  A signed order and proof of the Plan of Care being sent to the doctor will suffice for the first 90 days.
• Extensions:  If care extends beyond 90 days, a signed and updated Plan of Care is required at 90-day intervals.
• Progress Notes:  Continue submitting progress notes every 30 days.
